Neha and her friends conducted an experiment to test if sound produced by a bell kept
inside a glass jar can travel through vacuum or not. They concluded that sound does
not travel through vacuum. They discussed possible reasons for this.
Here is what they said -
Neha - "Sound can travel through vacuum but we cannot hear it."
Medhavi - "There is no gravity in vacuum, and so sound cannot travel."
Rishi - "There are no particles that can vibrate and transmit sound."
Asim - "Sound can only travel through air."
Who was correct?
1 Neha
2 Medhavi
3 Rishi
4 Asim
