Mass Media systems of the world vary from each other according to the economy, polity, religion and culture of different societies. In societies, which followed communism and totalitarianism, like the former USSR and China, there were limitations of what the media could say about the government. Almost everything that was said against the State was censored for fear of revolutions. On the other hand, in countries like USA, which have a Bourgeois Democracy, almost everything is allowed.
Shifting our view to the Indian perspective and its system of Parliamentary Democracy, it is true that, the Press is free but subject to certain reasonable restrictions imposed by the Constitution of India, 1950, as amended ("Constitution"). Before the impact of globalization was felt, the mass media was wholly controlled by the government, which let the media project only what the government wanted the public to see and in a way in which it wanted the public to see it. However, with the onset of globalization and privatization, the situation has undergone a humongous change.

now a days if there is any case like kiddnaping, murder etc we all can know about it from home by new channels life aaj tak, republic bharat, india t.v., but now a days the media is not giving the proper news on not giving it in the proper way they are making it even the case more bigger or smaller are their own but not telling the original case and also using some phrases for balance or for the person who suffered from it and they are also speaking so freely and also badly that a child is it allowed to sit alone watching news channel in China because of the same reason and in India what's happening is the media is only telling incorrect statements and making the statement even more bigger so that everyone thinks it's the original and they get more rating than other news channels and because of this competition they have stopped giving the correct news and they have started rumours about each case and if it goes wrong the media always tells that we did not told it came to know about the statement from others we took interview interview of, so I am totally with the topic because now a days media has started rumours and they should be stopped by doing this otherwise it will grieve up too big.
