The branch is located on St. Cyril road, opposite St. Andrews High School. Arya Vidya Mandir Santacruz West is the first institution from the Arya Vidya Mandir Group of Schools. It started in 1971 and was followed by the Bandra West Institute. The two schools were later merged and the younger classes are housed in Santacruz while the larger Bandra West premises houses the older classes. The Principal is Mrs Smita Sulakhe.

Mrs Jyoti Kumar is the Director of Education for the Arya Vidya Mandir Group of Institutions. The school also houses the Institute of Special Education led by Mrs Vathsala Sharma.
