Let his original speed be x m/s

original time t secs

New SPeed = 3x/4 m/s

New Time = t  + 10 secs , because he reached 10 mins late

Distance will be same in both cases

We know that Distance = speed * time

Distance with original speed  = Distance with new speed

Original speed * Original time  = New speed * New time

x * t = 3x/4 * (t + 10)

After solving , we get :

t = 30 secs
