imagine a straight rod of length L
and you apply forces F1 and F2 at the ends of the rod in opposite direction
we get torque here
from the side of F1 and from the length given as l we get torque as F1*l and the second torque at the other side due to F2 will be
F2*(L-l) both forms a couple force adding up together

Answer:
Explanation:
linear mass density = m/L
mass of l length rope = ml/L
acceleration of system = f1-f2/m
f1-t=ml/L(f1-f2/m)
f1-t = l(f1-f2)/L
t=f1-l/L*(f1-f2)
