 \tan\theta + \cot\theta \\ = \frac{sin\theta}{cos \theta } + \frac{cos\theta} {sin\theta} \\ = \frac{ { \sin }^{2}\theta + { \cos }^{2} \theta}{sin\theta \: cos\theta} \\ = \frac{1}{sin\theta \: cos\theta}..........(1) \\ = \frac{1}{ \sin\theta } \times \frac{1}{ \cos\theta} \\ = \cosec\theta \sec \: \theta

Answer can be 2cosec2@ also

At step 1 we can multiply and divide by 2 then will get

2/2sin@cos@=2/sin2@=2cosec2@
