Non cooperation khilafat movement aimed at uniting Hindu and Muslim's.

The movement was launched by Mahatma Gandhi under the leadership of moulana ajad, Hakim ajmal khan and hasrat mohni.

Young leaders like Mohamad Ali and shaukat Ali began to discuss the issue with gandhiji.

It's a large scale mass movement and as it supports the idea of nonviolence, it spread Gandhian idea.

It also involved peasant movement in awadh and tribal movement in andhra pradesh.
