If u want to take down notes of any chapter in any subject.....try this method ....I study in this way only..
1) for subjects like science,hindi,social science...read the chapter and take down notes and remember points which u feel are important....try to make questions on the topics (important)...
2) For maths...first solve your course book(ncert) and then switch to a different refresher......note down the important formulas and questions which u feel are important and revise those for ur examinations......
