the salt is a substance which was formed in the reaction between the acid and base this reaction is called as nutralization reaction because in this reaction the acid and base nullify each other effect there are a another substance which was formed with salt namely water
The pH of the salt is depend on the parent acid and parent base when strong acid and strong base react with each other than the pH of the salt is 7
When the strong acid and weak base react with each other then the pH of the salt is less than 7 and it is a acidic salt
When the salt is formed with the reaction between a weak acid and a strong base than the pH of salt is more than 7 and it is basic salt
When the salt is formed with the reaction between the reaction between the weak acid and weak base than the pH of salt is 7
