I once found a four leaf clover. I felt so special because superstition has it that four leaf clovers are lucky. So i put it in between the pages of a book to dry it and preserve it, but nothing lucky ever happened to me. I thought that I might win a school raffle, or that I might meet a beautiful girl who wanted to date me, but my life went on as normal.
A few years later, when I was moving to a new house, I found the clover hidden in my book. I told my mother about my four-leaf clover and she was so pleased to see it. She told me that her friend who likes to make scrapbooks just went on a trip to Ireland. My mom's friend had hoped to find a four leaf clover in Ireland to put in her scrap book, but she had broken her glasses two days before she planned to visit the Irish country side. I told my mom to give my four leaf clover to her friend. My mom's friend was so pleased to get the clover she gave me a tin of home made cookies as a reward.
My clover didn't bring me any fortune until I gave it away.
