As the plants and living organisms on the first die they are like waste but there are certain microorganisms which decompose the dead matter and convert it into hummus, they are called decomposers. They convert the dead matter into simple substance which mix in the soil and provides nutrients to the plants. Moreover , the remaining matter which the decomposers didn't decompose is eaten away by scavengers like culture, eagle etc

This is true that forest has no waste because all the waste produced in the forest is biodegradable like dead plants and animals and droppings of animals and birds, so they are decomposed by microorganisms and mixed with soil. Also, forests lack the main cause of waste material generation, Humans.
