The World Environment Day was celebrated in our school in order to sensitive the students about the issues affecting the environment as well as encourage and motivate them to take positive actions regarding clean and healthy environment on the earth. Students were involved in poster making competitions on environment related topics. An awareness rally was taken out with full dynamism under the leadership of teachers to make everybody understand the importance of the three P’s – Protect, Preserve and Promote “mother earth”. Students raised slogans and displayed posters regarding different environmental issues. Through the many cultural awareness programmes like group songs, speech, dramatic dance etc., the young minds were empowered to become active agents to save our environment for better future. Students pledged to be the active part of positive changes in the environment on earth in order to ensure the safe future of our planet.
