On heating calcium carbonate gets converted into calcium oxide and co2. Is this a physical or chemical change?

Chemical Change
CaCO3=. CaO + CO2
In every example of Decomposition we can see that the chemical properties of the reactants and products are quite different ie the reactants and products are entirely different substances
