On selling 36 oranges , a vendor loses the selling price of 4 oranges.Find his loss percent. Please EXPLAIN.

Let the S.P. of 1 orange be rs 1 
sp of 36 oranges = rs 36 
loss = sp of 4 mangoes 
loss percent= sp+l 
= rs 36+4= rs 40 
loss percent= lcp100 
=440100 
=10%
