Once upon a time there was a great warrior, Prince Rama, who had a beautiful wife named Sita.

There was also a terrible demon king, Ravana. He had twenty arms and ten heads, and was feared throughout the land. He wanted to make Sita his wife, and one day he kidnapped her and took her away in his chariot. Clever Sita left a trail of her jewellery for Rama to follow.

Rama followed the trail of glittering jewellery until he met the monkey king, Hanuman, who became his friend and agreed to help find Sita. Messages were sent to all the monkeys in the world, and through them to all the bears, who set out to find Sita.

After a very long search, Hanuman found Sita imprisoned on an island. Rama's army of monkeys and bears couldn't reach the island, so they began to build a bridge. Soon all the animals of the world, large and small, came to help. When the bridge was built, they rushed across it and fought a mighty battle.

When Rama killed the evil Ravana with a magic arrow, the whole world rejoiced. Rama and Sita began their long journey back to their land, and everybody lit oil lamps to guide them on their way and welcome them back.

Ever since, people light lamps at Diwali to remember that light triumphs over dark and good triumphs over evil.

Rama's LIfe was a DISASTER. Many people could have GOT BROKEN had they be living Rama's lIfe. What did he not SAW in life? Having to KILL OWN Children, exile from her Wife, the same wife for whom he travelled from Ayodhya to Sri Lanka, getting exiled for 14 years soon after getting married...

In our culture, anyone who does GREAT in one's profession is called GOD, see Sachin. But both are not GODs. Calling them GODs sometimes, takes away the CREDIT from them. For Rama, he walked this LAND of India. He studied his 'Vidya' hard. He excelled in all of that. He crushed the heaviest weapon (the "DHANUSH" of SHIVA) to win the marriage to SITA.

He did it all. But again, his life was TRAGEDY -after -TRAGEDY. " Go AWAY to JUNGLE and don't show your face atleast for 14 years ", it was like hearing these words from his father & mother.

SITA was a princess and not a 'laborer'. She was trained to live like a QUEEN. She happily left with her husband to where? To DISNEYLAND? NO! To the JUNGLE, where after 1 week noone can recognize your face.

As if this was not enough , cutting 13 years of jungle-EXILE, another TRAGEDY STRIKED. On the 14th year, SITA got KIDNAPPED. It was KIDNAPPING via AIR. You know what happened after that.....

Years later, he was forced to kill his own CHILDREN. And people, that's RAMA's Life. That GUY was calm , stable within all his life. He did everything, fulfilled all His duties. Maybe way too much dedication.

I am not a religious person and cannot accept these HUman-beings as GOD. But I do accept this about , this RAMA guy , SITA and others with them. They were He** Great HUMAN-beings...

Hope the story make sense
