One base angle of an isosceles triangle measures 34 degrees. What is the measure of the vertex angle?

answer is 112 as u do mental calculation it's an isosceles triangles it means 2 sides are equal therefore those two angles will also be equal therefore assume that triangle is ABC and we know it's an isosceles triangle so AB = BC therefore if A is 34 B will also be 34 so ....

34+34= 68 and then use angle addition property

68 + AC = 180 (angle addition property)

AC = 180 - 68

= 112
