What is the probility of picking a queen and a king on my two first picks?

First pick: Either a king or queen is fine, so the probability is 2/13, like we proved before.

Second pick: Now we are just trying to pick the other wanted value, queen if we got a king and king if we got a queen. There are 4 of each card value and there are 52–1 cards left, (we already took a card out) so the probability of getting the other wanted value is 4/51.

We just have to multiply these two fractions together to get the probability of all of this to happen in a row: 2/13 x 4/51 = 8/663.
