One laborer carried four pans of road metal through a distance of 100 meters. If he carries two pans of road metal through a 200 meters distance equal work will be done.
Work equals to the multiplication of both the amount of force and the displacement of an object. In first scenario, the laborer is carrying four pans of road metals and covering 100 meters.
So, in this case W= 4* 100, i.e. 400. In the second scenario the laborer covered 200 meters carrying 2 pans of road metals, it means in this time he also done same amount of work like the first time.
We took 4 and 2 as the value of force as force.
