area of rhombus is 1/2 of d1×d2 by applying this formula we get side as 9cm perimeter of the rhombus is 4×side so answer will be 36 if you like the answer please make it as brainlest

Step-by-step explanation:

area of rhombus = ½ × d1 × d2 = 54 cm²

one diagonal = d1 = 12 cm

let the other diagonal be = x

the other diagonal = 9 cm

diagonal of rhombus bisects each other perpendicularly

it is divided into four right angled triangle

diagonal 1 => 1/2 × 12 = 6

diagonal 2 => 1/2 × 9 = 4.5

therefore the adjacent sides of right angle are 6cm and 4.5 cm

using Pythagoras theory we find the hypotenuse ( side of rhombus)

therefore the side of rhombus is = s = 7.5 cm

perimeter of rhombus = 4 x s

all sides of rhombus are equal

7.5 × 4 = 30 cm

the perimeter of rhombus is = 30 cm
