Hey there,

Google ad system works in a way that you pay for certain keywords which when are clicked or searched for, their ad appears in front. The catch is that the payment is not constant. It depends on the number of time your key words have been searched for and visited.

So when the client wants to know why the budget raised, the clear answer is that the traffic for their paid search words varied everyday and it has been clicked more than anticipated times/budgets. They can not control google trafficking.
