The animals are going towards river are
6 elephants
Every elephant saw 2 monkeys =6*2=12.
Every monkey holds one parrot =2*1=2
⇒⇒6+12+2=20
note:if rabbit to going towards river then total 21 animals

Geniusultimate: Rabbit = 1
Geniusultimate: Elephants = 6
Geniusultimate: Monkeys = 12
Geniusultimate: If every monkey holds one parrots, there are 12 parrots, not 2. So, Parrots = 12.
Geniusultimate: So, 1 + 6 + 12 + 12 = 31.
Geniusultimate: Note: It hasn't been mentioned if the elephants are going to the river as it says the rabbit saw 6 elephants WHILE going to the river.
