Let one side of the parallelogram be x.
Adjacent side= 2.5+x
Now perimeter = 2(l+b)
2(x+2.5+x)= 51 m
2(2x+2.5)= 51m
4x+5= 51m
4x= 46m
x= 46/4= 23/2= 11.5m

Let the one of the sides be x m
Adjacent side = x + 2.5 m
Perimeter = 51m
Opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal
Therefore
x + x + x + 2.5 + x + 2.5 = 51
4x = 51 - 5
x = 46 / 4
x = 11.5 m
Therefore its sides are 11.5m, 11.5m and 14m, 14m
