3) let dilip’s son’s present age be x
ATQ
Two years ago,
Dilip’s sons age = x-2
Dilips age = 3(x-2)
So, dilip’s present age = 3x-6+2= 3x-4
Now,
Two years hence,
2(3x-4+2) = 5(x+2+2)
=> 2(3x-2) = 5(x+4)
=> 6x-4 = 5x + 20
=> x = 24 years
So, dilip’s sons present age = x = 24 years
And dilips age= 3x-4 = 68 years

5) let denominator be x
=> numerator= x-6
ATQ
(x-6+3)/x = 2/3
=> 3(x-3) = 2x
=> 3x-9= 2x
=> x = 9
So, fraction = x-6/x = 3/9
