Ph increases as Co2 is an acidic oxide and if acidic content decrease then ph increases

Your general soda has a ph of about 2.5. it is acidic mostly because of the citric acid, but also because of the carbon dioxide dissolved in it,even though it makes little difference, but it's release will make it's ph go slightly up. So it shall be in conclusion less acidic.
