Orange light wavelength 6600 Aº travelling in air gets reflected in
water. if the speed of light in air is 3 x 10^8
m/s and refractive index is 4/3 find the frequency of light.
Solve the question in detail.​

\sf \lambda _{air}=6600\:Å=6600\times 10^{-10}\:m

c = 3 × 10⁸ m/s

μ = 4/3

From the relation c = f λ (in air)

Frequency of light in air f_{\sf air}=\sf \dfrac{c}{\lambda _{air}}

 f_{\sf air}=\sf \dfrac{3\times 10^{8}}{6600\times 10^{-10}}

 f_{\sf air}=\sf 4.54\times 10^{14}\:Hz
