Given :

Total number of voters = 15000.

Percentage of voters who voted = 60 %

Finding the Percentage of voters who did not vote -

100 - 60 = 40 %.

So, Percentage of voters who did not vote = 40 %

Finding Number of voters who didn't vote -

15000 x 40/100

= 6000.

Hence :

Percentage of voters who didn't vote = 40 %

Number of voters who didn't vote = 6000.

Percentage of voters who did not vote is 40 %.

The number of voters who actually did not vote is 6000.

Explanantion:

Total voters voted is 15000 which is 100 %.

Voting percentage of voters who voted = 60 %

Percentage of voters did not vote: 100 % - 60 % = 40 %

Number of voters who actually didn't vote: Total voters x 40 % = 15000 x 40/100

= 6000

Total number of voters in the constituency: 15000Voting percentage of voters who voted = 60 %Percentage of voters did not vote: 100 % - 60 % = 40 %Number of voters who actually didn't vote: Total voters x 40 % = 15000 x 40/100= 6000

Number of voters who didn't vote = 6000.
