n(A)=400; n(B)=200; n(A∩B)=50 and n(AUB)=500

We know that

n(AUB)=n(A)+n(B)-n(A∩B)

500=400+200-50

500=550, which is false

So the given data is incorrect.

No , this data is incorrect , as 400 car owners have A and 200 car owners have B , that too out of only 500 , then it means that atlest 100 cars should be common , so , 50 is incorrect.
