Hey

So your answer is -

Power of lamp 1 = 60W

Power of lamp 2= 40W

Resistance and power are inversely proportional to each other

i.e. - R = V * V / P

Also ,

R is inversely proportional 1/P

So , lamp powered 40W has more resistance than a 60W lamp.

Answer:

P = VI

And V = IR

Hence, P = I²R

Or, P ∝ R

Hence, the 60 W lamp has higher resistance

However,

P = \frac{V^{2} }{R}

Hence, P ∝ 1/R

So, the 40 W lamp has higher resistance
