Temperature, light intensity and carbon dioxide concentration are factors that can affect the rate of photosynthesis.
When light intensity is increased the rate of photosynthesis increases until the point of ‘light saturation’ where there is no further increase.
When carbon dioxide is increased the rate of photosynthesis increases until the point of ‘CO2 saturation’ where there is no further increase.
When temperature is increased the rate of photosynthesis increases until the point of ‘denaturation’ where there is a rapid decline due to the destruction of plant proteins.
