AQ/AC=AP/AB=1/3
we have QP parallel CB
Triangle AQP congruent tria.ACB

AQ/AC=QP/CB
1/3=4.5/BC
BC=3×4.5
13.5cm

In triangle, ABC P and Q are points on sides AB & AC
if PQ is parallel to BC,then
traiangle APQ is similar to triangle ABC
Therefore, AP/AB=AQ/AC=PQ/ BC
therefore, AQ/QC= 3/6=1/2
PQ/BC= 4.5/BC = 1/2
BC = 4.5×2/1
BC = 9 cm.
Hey mate I think this will help you and If this question is right than please mark it as brainlist.

narayansuryavapbx437: I don't know what you are saying
narayansuryavapbx437: But my answer is correct
narayansuryavapbx437: and her answer is wrong
MRDynamite: im sorry but your answer is wrong and her answer is right
MRDynamite: PQ/BC = AQ/AC as these two triangles are similar. so it will be 4.5/BC = 3/9......so BC = 4.5 * 9/3......that equal 13.5.........u have taken AQ/QC = 1/2.......but QC is not a side of the triangle,,,AC is..so instead of AQ/QC, you are supposed to take AQ/AC since AC is the side of the big triangle
MRDynamite: Hope u can understand
narayansuryavapbx437: ohhh
narayansuryavapbx437: sorry I got my mistake
