at x = -2
P(-2) = 2(-2)⁴ - 3(-2)³ + 7(-2) + 5
= 2(-1)⁴ × 2⁴ - 3(-1)⁴ × 2³ - 14 + 5
= 2 × 1 × 16 + 3 × 1 × 8 - 14 + 5
= 32 + 24 - 14 + 5
= 32 + 10 + 5
= 47

at x = 2
P(2) = 2(2)⁴ - 3(2)³ + 7(2) + 5
= 32 - 24 + 14 + 5
= 32 + 19 - 24
= 51 - 24
= 27

ii ) Value of p( x ) at x = 2 ,

p( 2 ) = 2× 2⁴ - 3 × 2³ + 7 × 2 + 5

= 51 - 24
