In the attachment I have answered

this problem.

The value of p(x) at x= -3 is obtained

by putting x =-3 in p(x).

The value is 4 and it has explained

detailly in the attachment .

P(x) = 3x² + 10x + 7 ; at x = -3, 1 .

at x = -3
P(x) = 3x² + 10x + 7
P(-3) = 3(-3)² + 10(-3) + 7
P(-3) = 3 × 9 - 30 + 7
P(-3) = 27 + 7 - 30
P(-3) = 34 - 30
P(-3) = 4
hence, P(-3) = 4

at x = 1
P(1) = 3(1)² + 10(1) + 7
P(1) = 3 + 10 + 7
P(1) = 20
hence, P(1) = 20
