Construct a ∆XYZ in which XY = 4.5 cm, YZ = 5 cm and ZX = 6 cm.

Construction of triangle XYZ:

• Draw a line segment ZX = 6 cm.
• With Z as center and radius of 5 cm, draw an arc.
• Similarly, with X as center and radius of 4.5 cm draw another arc cutting the previous arc.
• Let the point of intersection of these two arcs be Y.
• Join Y with Z and X.
• XYZ is the required triangle.
