Parenchyma and collenchyma are both simple permanent tissue.

cells of parenchyma tissue are loosely packed and hence, there's a lot of intercellular space between them. the cell wall of parenchyma is made up of cellulose. the parenchyma tissue is known as chlorenchyma when the parenchyma tissue contains chlorophyll to perform photosynthesis and aerenchyma in aquatic plants which helps in buoyancy and also helps aquatic plants to float. this tissue provides mechanical support to the plants.

collenchyma provides flexibility to the plants especially it's present in leaves and stems. the cells of collenchyma tissue are thickened at the corner. that's why it doesn't have much intercellular space as compared to parenchyma tissue. the cell wall is made up of pectin and cellulose.
