Perimeter of a parallelogram
is 220 m. If one side exceeds
the other by 50 meter find the length of

Answer:

Let one side of parallelogram = x

other side = x+50

perimeter=220m

As, perimeter of parallelogram= 2(a+b)

220= 2(x+x+50)

220=2(2x+50)

220=4x+100

=220-100 =4x

=120=4x

=120/4=x

=30=x

x=30

One side=x= 30 m

other side= x+50

=30+50

=80 m
