Acetic acid contains low concentration compared to Sulphuric acid

  • PH of a compound is given by the formula

           PH = -log[H⁺]

  • PH is inversely proportional to the concentration of H⁺ ions
  • On decreasing the number of H⁺ ions i.e., the concentration of H⁺ ions the PH of a compound increases
  • Sulphuric acid has low PH so it has higher concentration of H⁺ ions as compared to Acetic acid
