if it has a border around it of uniform width 1 cm, then find the area of the framed photograph

area of the photograph including frame = lb = {(5/2 + 2)(7/2 + 2)}cm^2 = {9/2 * 11/2}cm^2 = 99/4 cm^2

area of the frame = area of the photograph including frame - area of the photograph = 99/4 cm^2 - 35/4 cm^2 =  64/4 cm^2 = 16 cm^2
