Option (b) is the right answer.

[Mn(CN)₆]³⁻ is d²sp³ hybridized and is octahedral.

It's due to following reasons :

- The oxidation state of Mn( Manganese) is +3 in this complex which is a very important factor.

- Electronic configuration (outer) is 4s03d44p0.

- CN is a strong ion/molecule and it will make one electron from d-orbital bind to another d orbital in this complex.

- Now vacating one more orbital from d shell and two unpaired electrons will be left in d shell.
