Pipe a fills a tank in 30 minutes

=> Pipe a can fill tank in 1 min = 1/30

Pipe  b can fill the same tank 5 times as fast as pipe a

=> Pipe b can fill tank in 1 min = 5/30

both the pipes a & b together can fill tank in 1 min = 1/30 + 5/30  = 6/30 = 1/5

both the pipes a & b together can fill tank  in 1/(1/5)  = 5 mins

time for the tank to overflow more than  5 Min
