The placenta is responsible for providing oxygen and nutrients aka food to the growing baby and removes waste products from baby's blood.

placenta is a circular disc like structure attached to the mothers body with the growing baby ..it provides food nd nutrients through mothers blood to tht of the baby nd the waste is released in the mother's blood by the baby through placenta
