(2) Pinus has symbiotic association with Fungi. This is called MYCORRHIZAL association. Fungicide would kill the fungi which prevents it from providing mineral nutrition to Pinus by absorbing minerals from soil. Hence the plant ,i.e. Pinus develops MINERAL DEFICIENCY.
