During photosynthesis, plants give off oxygen as a waste product. Carbon dioxide move from the air into the leaves of plants through tiny openings in the plants leaves......All animals, including humans require oxygen to survive. Animals need oxygen which they get from plants and human get carbon dioxide for plants for the process of photosynthesis.

So,plants and animals depends on each other .
