Hi...☺

Here is your answer...✌
================================

 {x}^{2}  - 2x - 8 \\  \\  =  {x}^{2}  - 4x + 2x - 8 \\  \\   = {x}(x - 4) + 2(x - 4) \\  \\   = (x +2 )(x - 4)

Hii friend,

X²-2X-8

X²-4X+2X-8

X(X-4) + 2 ( X-4)

(X-4) ( X+2)

(X-4) = 0 OR. (X+2) = 0

X = 4 OR. X = -2

Hence,

4 and -2 are the two zeros of the given polynomial.

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU... :-)
