Blood is coloured red fluid ,whereas plasma is colourless fluid,blood contains platelets,rbc and wbc,whereas plasma has only wbc,blood helps in transportation of o2,co2,nutrients,hormones,waste material ,maintain water balance,regulate body temprature(homeostasis),plasma carry digested food from intestine,and drains fluid in extracellular spaces.
