\color{red}\huge{\underline{\underline{GIVEN\dag}}}

  • length(l) = 5 \times breadth(b)
  • perimeter = 24 \: units

\color{red}\huge{\underline{\underline{SOLUTION\dag}}}

 \blue{ \boxed{perimeter = 2(l +b )}}

Since;

l = 5 \times b

 \implies b =  \frac{l}{5}

24 = 2(l +  \frac{l}{5} )

12 =  \frac{6l}{5}

6l = 60

 \orange{  \boxed{\therefore length(l) = 10  \: units}}

HOPE THAT HELPS!!
