Hey MATE!

We are given that :

Initial velocity (u) = 90 km/hr =>

90*5/18 => 25m/sec

Final velocity (v) = 0 km/hr => 0m/s

Acceleration (a) = 0.5 m/s²

We acn apply third equation of motion here ie,

v² = u² + 2as

0² = 25² + 2(-0.5)(s)

0-25² = -s

- 625 = -s

Thus, distance travelled = s = 625 m Answer.

Hope it helps

v^2-u^2=2as
0^2-25^2=2(-0.5)s
0-625=-s
therefore, distance travelled=625m
