Given that lateral surface area of the hollow cylinder = 5220cm^2.

Given Width of the rectangular sheet formed w = b = 36cm.

Area of rectangular sheet = Surface area of cylinder

l * b = 5220

l * 36 = 5220

l = 5220/36

l = 145.

Therefore the length of the rectangular sheet = 145cm.


We know that Perimeter of the rectangular sheet = 2(l + b)

                                                                                   = 2(145 + 36)

                                                                                   = 2(181)

                                                                                   = 362cm.



Therefore the perimeter of the rectangular sheet = 362cm.
