Answer:

Let number be 10x+y

So, digits are x and y.

Since product of its digits is 14,

xy=14---------1

When 45 is added to the number,

10x+y+45=10y+x

9x-9y= -45----------2

On substituting value of x from equation 1 to equation 2 we get,

x=14/y

In equation 2,

9(14/y)+9y= -45

126/y+9y= -45

9y²+45y+126=0  (Divide each value by 9)

y²+5y+14=0

y²+7y+2y+14=0

y(y+7)+2(y+7)=0

(y+2)(y+7)=0

y= -2 or -7

x=14/-2 or 14/-7

= -7 or -2
