Let Edge be = s

So Volume
s \times s \times s = {s}^{3}
now increase it 3 times.
It's Edge is now 3s

So Volume
3s \times 3s \times 3s = 27 {s}^{3}
Now, we know that Increase% =
 \frac{increased \: volume}{original \: volume} \times 100

So, Increase
 = 27 {s}^{3} - {s}^{3} = 26 {s}^{3}
So, by applying the formula

 = \frac{26 {s}^{3} }{ {s}^{3} } \times 100
= 2600%

So the volume of the cube is increased by 2600% or simply 26s^3 units.
