From image we can see That :-
→ DE = Length of Perpendicular = 9m .
→ EF = Length of Base = 3m.
→ Angle EDF = @ = ?
Solution :-
we know That, Tan@ = Perpendicular/Base .
So,
→ Tan@° = EF/DE
→ Tan@° = 3/9
→ Tan@ = (1/3)
→ @ = Tan^(-1) (1/3)
→ @ = 18.43°. ≈ 18.4° .
Hence, Angle D is 18.4°..

Important :-
→ sin theta = Perpendicular/Hypotenuse
→ cos theta = Base/Hypotenuse
→ tan theta = Perpendicular/Base
→ cosec theta = Hypotenuse/Perpendicular
→ sec theta = Hypotenuse/Base
→ cot theta = Base/Perpendicular...
